About:
Dr. Deval Gadhvi is an attentive primary care physician providing traditional outpatient services to patients in Jersey City & Newark. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates. Dr. Gadhvi earned her bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery from M.P. Shah Medical College in Gujarat, India. She completed an internal medicine internship at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, followed by a residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City.
Experience:
As a breast cancer survivor, Dr. Gadhvi brings a deeply personal and holistic perspective to healthcare—emphasizing diet, exercise, stress reduction, and alternative medicine. Beyond her clinical work, she founded a breast cancer awareness initiative called “Let’s Save Maa” in the remote desert area of Kutch, India. Through this program, Dr. Gadhvi and her team have organized mammogram buses and distributed cancer awareness materials to young girls in local schools, spreading education and early detection awareness in underserved communities.
